James O. "Jimmy" Lockett began practicing martial arts in 1967. He is ranked 7th Dan in Okinawan/Chinese Kenpo, 5th Dan in Japanese Ju-Jitsu and Instructor in Yang style Tai Chi Chuan. Jimmy is member of the United Martial Arts Alliance and a Life Member of the United States Martial Arts Federation (USMAF), the United States Ju-Jitsu Federation (USJJF), and USA-Traditional Kodokan Judo (USA-TKF). In 2019 Jimmy was inducted into the USJJF Hall of Fame as a Sensei.
